Cedar Bough Bags

I sold this set of Cedar Bough Bags yesterday. Every time someone buys something I get a thrill. The person who bought these lives in New York state. The last person who bought a similar item lives in Georgia. Wow. How cool to be connecting with people in other places. The web is such a gift!

These Bough Bags are filled with Western Red Cedar -- the predominant species of tree in the Pacific Northwest.  The smell is a little gift from heaven. It smells like walking through the woods on barefoot feet, crushing forest underneath, feeling strength and infinity in every step.

Weaving the Ribbon

Here is one of the lavender wands I made today in process. The stems are folded down over the lavender heads. They are arranged in twos and spaced evenly before the weaving starts. Every set of 2 stems is  constantly being realigned in order to maintain consistent spacing during the weaving process. Here's the link to one on discoverybay.etsy.com

Scent in the Wind

When I opened my door today, there was a different scent in the wind. Where is it coming from, I asked myself. There are new blossoms on the shrub out side my door. They are tiny and smell great. Have a look.
